High output vs low output moving coil cartridges

Some Dynavector models – including the 10X5 MkII, 10XA, 20X2 and 20X2-A – are available in both high and low output versions. High output MC cartridges can be used with most MM phono stages, offering straightforward system matching. Low output MC designs require a phono stage with suitable gain, but reward the listener with increased resolution, greater dynamic expression and more natural detail.
