The Puritan Audio Labs facedown converter plate is an optional accessory for PSM136, PSM156 and PSM1512 Studio Master mains purifiers. The facedown converter plate replaces the standard fascia plate using the original screws, which allows the mains purifier to be mounted vertically, with the sockets facing upwards.

The facedown converter plate is a great option if you would like to place your mains purifier on the floor behind your hi-fi rack or other furniture. It features outriggers and vibration damping feet for excellent stability and isolation.

Yes. The converter plate comes pre-drilled. Simply unscrew the existing fascia panel from the chassis and fit the converter plate in its place.

Will it affect performance or ventilation?

No. The PSM units are passively cooled and mounting them face-down does not affect performance. Just ensure there’s some space around the unit so cables and air can move freely.
