Handmade in Finland, Amphion speakers combine minimalist design with exceptional clarity, balance and timing. Their proprietary waveguide controls dispersion, giving you a wide, stable soundstage and consistent performance in real-world rooms. Whether you’re listening at low levels or pushing the volume, they reveal detail without harshness and deliver music with natural energy and flow.
Amphion Helium
The Helium 510 is the most-affordable model in the range. It shares its cabinet and waveguide with the Argon 1, but uses a paper cone mid/bass driver in place of the Argon’s aluminium one.
Amphion Argon series
The Argon series includes standmount and floorstanding models, all using aluminium mid/bass drivers paired with Amphion’s waveguide-loaded tweeter. The larger models use passive radiators, supporting low frequencies over a wider band than a simple port, and providing fast, agile bass. The Argon 3X, Argon 3LX and Argon 7LX models feature a high-end titanium-dome tweeter, originally developed for the flagship Krypton 3X, and a revised crossover.
Amphion Krypton
The Krypton 3X is Amphion’s reference model. It is a three-way design, with a dedicated side-firing 10″ bass driver built into each cabinet. Twin 8″ paper-cone midrange units are arranged D’Appolito-style either side of the tweeter and waveguide.
Accessories & Finishing Touches
Amphion offers its own wall brackets for Helium 510 and Argon 1 speakers. The bracket attaches to the mounting points found on the speaker’s rear panel, for discrete wall mounting.

Do Amphion speakers sound clinical?
No. They’re highly resolving, and they borrow technology and concepts from Amphion’s professional line of studio monitors, but their home speakers are voiced to sound natural and engaging – not analytical or cold.
Will they work in my room?
Yes. Amphion speakers are designed to work well in typical domestic spaces, including near-wall placement. Their controlled directivity means that the tonal mix is essentially the same on and off axis, meaning that the sound reflected off the walls has the same tonal mix as the direct sound. This creates a sense of spaciousness, instead of muddying the image as reflections normally would.

Do you offer part exchange?
