Puritan Audio Labs looks critically at the value of every element incorporated into the design and construction of its mains cables. What area of investment makes a real difference to the sound and what is pointless eye candy?

They discovered that vibration distortion, as picked up by and transmitted by mains cables, is the biggest undoing of any otherwise competently designed cable. Their designs pay special attention to minimising vibration distortion, but of course their attention to detail extends to all of the materials used in the cable and to the terminations at each end. They carried out a massive study of how to optimally screen against the widest bandwidth of electromagnetic disturbances, not merely those easily screened by conventional materials and methods.

The result, even for the entry level Classic cable is a mains power cable like no other, with a level of performance that totally defies its price.

The Classic mains cable is available with a standard IEC C13 “kettle” connector, suitable for use with most home audio components, IEC C7 “figure 8” connector or a heavy duty C19 connector suitable for use with Puritan Audio Labs mains purifiers, Chord PowerHAUS mains blocks and other compatible equipment. Custom lengths are available on request.

Delivery is free on orders over £100. We deliver anywhere in the UK using premium tracked delivery services from DPD Local, UPS, TNT and Royal Mail.
