The Puritan Audio Labs PSM1512 takes the much lauded PSM156 and doubles the number of individually filtered output stages, preserving everything that makes the PSM156 so great, while enabling twice the number of components to be connected.

DC Blocking

Have you ever experienced a mechanical hum from the transformer in your amplifier or power supply? Sometimes the hum is caused by a bad transformer. Most of the time it is caused by DC current contaminating the AC supply. This problem is becoming more and more common, in large part due to the widespread adoption of LED lighting. The toroidal transformers used in hi-fi components are particularly susceptible to this problem. Puritan Audio Lab’s DC blocking technology completely eliminates this hum by removing the DC contamination.

Optional Facedown Converter Plate

The Puritan Audio Labs PSM1512 comes as standard with four rubber feet for horizontal placement. The optional facedown converter plate allows the PSM1512 to be mounted vertically, with the sockets facing upwards. The converter plate replaces the standard front fascia with outriggers and isolation feet. It is a great option if you would like to place your PSM1512 behind your hi-fi rack or other furniture.
