Puritan Audio Labs PSM1512 Mains Purifier

Impressed by the Puritan Audio Labs PSM156 mains purifier but need more outputs? The Puritan Audio Labs PSM1512 is essentially two PSM156 boards packaged into a single double-height chassis. It doubles the number of individually filtered output sockets, preserving everything that makes the PSM156 so great, while enabling twice as many to be connected.

The precision symmetrically-balanced circuitry and 94 independently-tuned filter elements enable your system to deliver even greater delicacy and detail whilst enhancing dynamics and punch.

The PSM1512 will lift your system into a new dimension. Definition takes an enormous stride forward and individual instruments gain air between them, with their sound and timbre becoming more believable. DC blocking

Have you ever experienced a mechanical hum from the transformer in your amplifier or power supply? Sometimes the hum is caused by a bad transformer. Most of the time it is caused by DC current contaminating the AC supply. This problem is becoming more and more common, in large part due to the widespread adoption of LED lighting. The toroidal transformers used in hi-fi components are particularly susceptible to this problem. Puritan Audio Lab’s DC blocking technology completely eliminates this hum by removing the DC contamination.

Optional facedown converter plate

The Puritan Audio Labs PSM1512 comes as standard with four rubber feet for horizontal placement. The optional facedown converter plate allows the PSM1512 to be mounted vertically, with the sockets facing upwards. The converter plate replaces the standard front fascia with outriggers and isolation feet. It is a great option if you would like to place your PSM1512 behind your hi-fi rack or other furniture.
