Neat Acoustics has been designing and building loudspeakers by hand in Teesdale, County Durham since 1989, when Bob Surgeoner introduced the original Neat Petite — a compact standmount that proved a small cabinet could deliver genuine musical scale and depth. That founding conviction has shaped every model since.
Many Neat speakers use isobaric bass loading, a technique in which two drive units share a sealed enclosure to deliver deeper, better-controlled bass from a compact cabinet than conventional ported designs can achieve. The result is a house sound that is rhythmically precise, tonally natural and unusually easy to drive — whether you choose the smallest standmount or a full-range floorstander.
